That’s right, the site had been completely revamped with a new look and feel, as well as some new features. The biggest new feature is that the blog is being hosted on Blogger.com so it now allows viewer comments (please use “other” identity when commenting). I’ve also incorporated a new flash photo slide show in the photos section (requires flash 8 or higher). All in all, I’m much happier with how the new site turned out. There are still a few pages (about / podcasts) that are still being worked on, but they should be up soon. I hope everyone enjoys the new site as much as I do and I look forward to seeing viewer comments. Take care everyone.

I’s official, ‘Just Because iCan’ is now live. What does this mean? Well, pretty much nothing. Maybe I should start by telling you the whole point of this site (not that there’s really a point to it). Basically, like many of you out there, I spend a great deal of my time on the internet; bouncing from site to site looking at information on any subject I can think of. In the end, most of information I rely on comes from Blogs or Podcasts. I just can’t seem to get enough of them. In fact, I now listen to more Podcasts on my iPod then I do music.

I’ve been so exposed to this medium that I’ve developed the desire to create my own. Over time I’ve been teaching myself the tricks of the trade, however, I couldn’t justify the effort needed to maintain the site without some sort of content to blog or podcast about.

Luckily, Apple is an amazing company. With the release of iLife ’06 last weeks, Mac users were given a little gift in the form of iWeb. With this new addition to the iLife Suite, blogging and podcasting are now easier burning a CD from a custom playlist of your favorite songs. With this application, I can blog to my hearts content and do it ‘Just Because iCan’.
