Apple’s WWDC keynote yesterday was probably one of the more exciting one’s we’ve seen for a while now. We got a few quick looks at Snow Leopard (and it’s amazing $29 price tag) and we got the big announcement of the new iPhone. I for one was completely excited. Unfortunately, there’s a huge stink brewing on the internet from iPhone 3G[pre-s] customers who are upset that they wont be able to take advantage of the $199 and $299 price points. To those people I’d like to say the following: “Owning a iPhone 3G[pre-s] is not different than owning a Blackberry, Motorola, or any other cell phone. I’m a huge fan of both Netflix and Gamefly. I love the convenience of rentals being delivered to my door and I love that these services afford me the ability to sample everything without breaking the bank every time I want a new game or film. The systems work beautifully and it’s incredibly simple to manage your queue. Unfortunately, as I recently discovered, both services become huge inconveniences when you want to downgrade to a lower tier.

Well, we’re nearing the end of the first fiscal quarter, so it seems like a fitting time to check in on the status of my New Years resolutions of 2009. As some of you might remember, I deliberately (or should I say strategically) chose a limited number of easily attainable resolutions to all but guarantee I could succeed this year. So lets check in on how it’s going so far.
